I just received my first Klutch Club Box today! I ordered a free trial of the Best of Box with a coupon code and only paid $8 for shipping, and let me tell you it was totally worth it!

Yay! It's open! The September Goodies Co. Taster Box was pretty nice! A good variety of unique food items… see below! I included a review for one of the items in the box, the rest of individual product reviews will come later!

Zone Perfect Nutritional Bar Greek Yogurt Chocolate Bar - $1.52 per 1.58oz bar

As you can see, I couldn't wait to take pictures to open the Zone bar up! It was really good for a nutritional bar (didn't have much of that nutritional bar "flavor"); it even had a delicious almost gooey layer of chocolate on the outside! Yum!! I would definitely keep this in mind next time I buy nutritional/meal replacement bars. I tend to get lazy with breakfast and usually opt for a Nestle or Carnation breakfast shake so this would be a pleasant little variety to my lazy breakfast routine.

Also, I should note that yesterday I was feeling like a cold was coming on AND I got around 4 hours of sleep. I'm the type that can sleep for 11 hours straight and feel like a zombie if I get less than 7 hours. So anyway, I grabbed the bar to go in the morning and nibbled at it over a couple hours. An hour or so after eating part of this bar  I felt quite a bit of an energy boost! Alertness and feeling awake; it was so much better than a jittery, uncomfortable coffee caffeine high!

So, total this box has a value of ~ $13.77

Seems like a pretty good deal for $7/mth! Even better this month because I received it for free by using a promo code, I think the company may have emailed it to me after they noticed I didn't finish signing up or something. If I find a coupon code I'll definitely post it!

I just received my first batch of subscription boxes this past weekend and can totally see how one can become addicted to this! It's so fun trying out a variety of new products and foods! Anyway, on to the boxes...

BioRenew Skincare Samples REVIEW

I've been on a sample hunting kick this month, this happens every so often, thus the creation of this blog! Why not share my finds with others?! Here's the first...

I recently ordered some FREE samples from BioRenew Skincare. They make skincare products for aging and/or blemished skin. They have a link on their website to sign up for free samples (no credit card or email address required). They're a bit pricey, but the samples come with a coupon for 15% off an RX Kit (not sure what that is).

I received the samples within a couple days! And it was so packaged so well! I was expecting some packets of cream you have to cut and is so hard to save, not these cute little re-usable tubs! You don't have to use a lot of the product so it'll last awhile. I've been using it for around 2 weeks now and it looks like I'll have enough to last at least another 2 or 3 weeks (but I use the minimal amount each time).

I've been using the set for the past 2 weeks (or less - I forgot a few times). So far, I have only noticed a slight improvement in my complexion after I apply the Tone & Glow Corrective Therapy moisturizer.

I'll post an update on any improvements after my samples are done.

As for the products; none of them were heavy and they absorbed really fast (except the Activated Firming Plasma, which required you wait 5 mins before applying lotion). Also, they don't really have strong scents, which is great!

The Restorative Cleanser seems to work well as a cleanser, but my skin feels tight and dry after washing (before moisturizing).

**Just as a base to measure from: my skin is pretty normal but leans on combination (I get dry on my nose & chin and oily on my eye area, forehead and sides of nose & face) also I get occasional breakouts around my period.**
